Emeraude Toubia

Emeraude Toubia is a native of Canada and is best known to Canadians for her role as a Canadian actress in the Freeform fantasy show Shadowhunters. In addition, she was a part of in Venevision telenovelas Cosita linda e Voltea and a'que te enamores. Model and dancer by profession Toubia also has achieved success in both fields. Her birthplace was in Montreal, she was raised in Texas. She has always enjoyed performing. In her early years, she began training in diverse forms of dance. When she was 15, she competed in beauty competitions. In 1999, she made her first on-screen appearance in Televisa's children's program El Mundo de los Ninos. Toubia achieved fame after she competed in Nuestra Belleza Latina in 2008. In a Telemundo episode, TV show, Telenovela Aurora In the episode, she portrayed the role of a receptionist. The actress starred in Tattooed Love (2015), an action movie. Toubia's performance as Shadowhunter was recognized by the Teen Choice Awards in both 2018 and 2017 for the best TV actress.
