Avery Sunshine
Avery Sunshine is a mercurial music producer and singer, who combines the soul of gospel and jazz with R&B in a signature mix. From Broadway to European clubs and festivals, the artist has worked across the globe. Sunshine has been born Denise White. The singer hails from Chester Pennsylvania, where she began her music career singing and playing piano in church. In Atlanta, she attended Spellman College where her musical education began in the city's R&B Scene. The first song to feature the voice of Stalk You A Japanese-influenced house 12 song. Since then, it was remixed and has become a part of her set. Her voice also appeared in the music video for The Fighting Temptations. In 2005, she was hired as the primary keyboardist in Tyler Perry's stage show Meet the Browns. Jennifer Holliday, a Grammy as well as Tony Award winning vocalist who has worked on stage production Dreamgirls in the National Black Arts Festival of Atlanta in 2007, approached her to be the leader of the choral group for the stage production. Sunshine came to national attention during four daily performances at the 2008 Democratic National Convention and was eventually invited to sing for the Obama's inauguration 2009.
