Donald Joseph Qualls (also known as DJ Qualls) is an American actor, producer and model. Since gaining fame with his performance in Road Trip, he's appeared in over 20 movies. These include The New Guy Hustle & Flow, The Core and The New Guy Hustle & Flow. Apart from his appearances on Road Trip he's participated in over 22 TV series such as Breaking Bad Supernatural Srubs Lost Law & Order & others. As a survivor of Hodgkin's Lymphoma who was diagnosed with at the age of 14 Qualls is a fighter. Two years later, his cancer is in recovery. However, the treatment at such an early stage had an enormous impact on his body and delayed his progress. As he began to act as a financial adviser, security for his finances was his target. He had experienced being a poor child. In an interview, he stated that if I don't have an income that is stable or feels overwhelmed within the universe, I'll be miserable. He also recalls his early years and wishes to do something about the problem of bullying. "Cruelty makes me cry," he said. On and off screen, DJ would love to play dad. However, he does admit that directors do not usually choose me for such role. Someday, he'd love have a baby so the time he spends at work and more attention to the baby.
