Aaliyah Dana Haughton and Aarti Mann

Aaliyah Dana Haughton came into fame in 1994, after she debuted her first album Age Ain't Nothing More Than an Number. When she was just 15 years old, the album earned Gold status. It was done as part of a group that was greatly influenced by R. Kelly and it put the singer in the limelight. In the year 1996, Jermaine Durpri and Timbaland worked together to create her second Album One In A Million. It featured the track If Your Boyfriend Only Knew as the single number one. The second album of Aaliyah, One in a Million was released in 1996. It contained the number-one song, a huge hit, If Your Girl Only Knew. The year 2000 saw her co-starred with the famous martial arts star Jet Li for the film Romeo Must Die. Joel Silver, the film producer, met her at the awards ceremony and kindly offered her the part. In 2002, she was able to appear in the horror film Queen of the Damned which was inspired by Anne Rice's Anne Rice novel. The Matrix Sequels was her first appearance in The Matrix Sequels. She has also been in The Matrix Reloaded (2003) as well as The Matrix Revolutions (2007). She received four Grammy nominations in 2001, 1999, 2002 and 2003. Aarti Mann.....................Aarti Mann also known as Aarti Majumdar is an American actor who is best known for her portrayal of Priya Koothrappali in the popular TV series The Big Bang Theory. Her birthplace was in Connecticut to a family of Indian origin. Mann the stage name is an abbreviation for Mankad, her married surname. Aarti uses both Aarti Majumdar as well as Aarti Munn as professional names. Though she started her career with minor TV and film roles her acting career gained speed in the late 2000s. The actress has also been featured in Leverage, Suits, Grey's Anatomy and Grey's Anatomy. She's appeared in many commercials for Volvo's international automobile maker. She lives in Los Angeles where she continues to work as an actress.
